Awesome....you will soon be sending her off to Everest!!!
Cool! where did you go?
Yeah, where did you go? The Y??
Whenever I'm at the Y I watch these tiny little kids climb the wall - fearless! I tried it once. I didn't do too bad, made it 2/3 of the way up (on the easiest section) but then I panicked. I didn't want to look dumb, but I totally didn't trust the rope! Instead of pushing off the wall to get down, I tried to climb down. Until I slipped. Ouch. Pushing off would have been way less painful! I guess climbing (or heights in general) are not for me!
Judi and Lynne,
I took her to the wall at the EK Y.
Bella did it too, but only went half way up the wall, she doesn't like heights.
Deanna,
I did it too. I went to the top and THEN looked down. Its true what they say, don't look down!
I repelled a couple of times with a pit in my stomach, and then got a weird rush out of it, and now I actually LIKE it. Our friend Rhonda once said I am an adrenaline junkie.
Hmmmmm....
those are cool pictures, it looks like they are underwater.
now that would be less scary!
My girls love these rock climbing walls.Oh I'd love to try one myself some day - and not make a fool of myself in the process!
